Hölderlin Archive
The Hölderlin Archive is the international research center with three primary tasks:
- It seeks out and acquires, wherever possible, all text editions of the poet Friedrich Hölderlin (1770-1843), related research literature, and evidence of his influence on literature, theatre, music, art and other areas of culture.
- It edits the international Hölderlin bibliography (since 1.1.2001: IHB online): all acquired documents are subjected to thorough analysis, listed and catalogued in detail. Deposit copies from authors, publishing companies and other institutions are indispensable for this work.
- It is an information point for Hölderlin researchers, artists and interested readers.
